DR ZOOL HUDDA - Peppimenarti, Northern Territory AUS
We flew out in a single engine 8 seater plane for Peppimenarti. Two male, two female doctors, two O.Ts and a pharmacist. Uneventful But lovely flight. Dropped 3 doctors on the way at Daly River and on our way to Peppimenarti. Were received by male nurse Russell in an ambulance as the car had broken down. Everyone sat on the stretcher bed.
Lovely community of 150 with a very nice clinic with all the facilities including emergency cardiac. Very good Houses with clean surroundings and gardens. Dispensary Is full with medications which is given free to all(section 100. Russell and his Irish girlfriend run the clinic. Went And picked up a few patients and kids from their homes and brought them back to the clinic. Left at about 16.15 and picked the other team from Daly River. Arrived back at 18.00.
